Melissa, owner of Melissa Hayes Photography, found her passion for photography when she used her camera to document all of her fabulous trips. It was actually after Melissa’s trip to Spain that we got together to chat. I found Melissa to be incredibly friendly and easy to talk with. We talked for what seemed like twenty minutes, which was actually hours– and we easily could have talk for more!

Melissa has been photographing weddings since 2008 and has been featured multiple times on Style Me Pretty. She is truly an artist who finds and captures things most people disregard. Melissa described her style as a “documentary approach with an artistic emphasis.” She focuses on capturing the emotion of each moment to produce natural images that document the day.
