Mari and Mikki’s wedding at Promontory Point was equal parts organic, elegant and extremely romantic. Their gorgeous ceremony looked over Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. They achieved their vision of having a beautiful, boho and personalized ceremony that truly felt special. Take a look at these photos of their wedding by Rebekah Albaugh.

We loved their central focal point of their ceremony – a white teepee adorned with a couple strands of free-flowing floral and greenery. All of their flowers were provided by Flowers for Dreams.

The romantic cello ceremony music was played by Desiree Miller.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved inside. Once again, they were able to achieve a bohemian look that still looked neat and elegant. We just loved how the green napkins matched the green windows and greenery on the tables. Jewell Events Catering provided all of the delicious food as well as the linens.

The gold terrariums and pops of pink floral looked amazing on the long tables.

Such a beautiful, personal touch was the poem that draped behind the gifts and guest book table. Their “guest book” was not your typical book – it was actually a globe that guests were encouraged to sign.

The glittery escort cards provided some pops of gold that matched the terrariums.

The petite, yet amazing, cake was provided by Cacao Sweets & Treats. They also provided the additional scrumptious sweet treats.

The day was so perfect that the couple was even able to take a photo in front of a darn rainbow! How romantic is that?

Other vendors involved in their special day were DJ Bonsu, Mario Tricoci, Lena Clark Beauty, and Event Brilliance.
