Maya and her sister Sonya wanted to host a shower for friends and family that would be eco-friendly, festive, and relaxing. They chose to bring their closest ladies to Noktivo, a non-toxic spa in Chicago, for a “baby” mani and pedi. The whale theme fit perfectly with the spa and the colors Maya wanted. Not only was this shower adorable— it was also green! We had a compost bin for all of the food waste, decor, and disposables. And all the vendors we hired are part of the Green Wedding Alliance, so you can bet we threw one heck of a low waste party!
