Michael and Hannah grew up together in Florida and made their way to Chicago after finishing their degrees. They wanted an elevated, timeless summer wedding in a historic space making the Chicago History Museum an easy choice to hold their nuptials. They were married on the terrace surrounded by friends and family. Travel was an important aspect of their relationship so their escort cards/favor combo were custom luggage tags. Hannah surprised her guests with an outfit change and they danced the night away while snapping pics of each other on disposable film cameras. Every little detail elevated their guest experience, from custom round bars with chic fabric signage to their beautiful gold bar cart for the cake cutting to the pearls adorning Hannah’s hair and even custom fans to keep guests cool during their summer ceremony. Hannah and Michael shared a last dance at the end of the night in their matching varsity jackets, an homage to their high school days together. Guests cheered them out of the building with pom poms.
