When we met with Belinda and Phyllis, they had no idea what to do at their wedding. At one point they asked, “Do you play board games at weddings?” Since we are a bit non-traditional, we feel the answer is you can do what you like and what speaks to your personalities. As we got to know them, we found they shared a love of cooking together. Instead of the traditional dinner and dancing, we planned an intimate cocktail-style reception with a private cooking class and demo at Centered Chef. Best yet— being that Belinda and Phyllis are both practicing Buddhists— we kept everything very eco-friendly, no-kill and low waste, with terrarium centerpieces and an all-vegan menu.
