Eco-Friendly Jewish Wedding

Claudia + Ryan

June 21, 2015

With every wedding planning decision, Claudia and Ryan were on opposite sides from one another. Claudia wanted a rustic Sunday brunch wedding, whereas Ryan wanted a more formal Saturday night wedding. And whatever color combo one of them loved, the other just wasn’t on board with it. But this whole “opposites attract” saying couldn’t be more true for these two romantics. Ryan converted to Judaism (Claudia’s religion) and Claudia followed Ryan to Chicago (where his education lead him). What they did agree on was hiring NYE to plan their Orthodox Jewish wedding with the Chicago skyline as a backdrop. Together we were able to find things both of them could agree on- a Sunday night seated reception with a southern comfort food menu served family style. Warm rustic details and vintage touches for Claudia and colorful florals and elegant lighting for Ryan. Their love of each other, family, and Chicago came through in every detail. Best yet- all decisions from seasonal flowers and food to even Claudia’s green (yes green!) dress were made with the environment in mind.
