Jackie and Richard had the perfect vision for a colorful and romantic elopement on the Amalfi Coast- but it took many twists and turns to get there. After hiring Naturally Yours Events in 2018 for their 30 guest celebration in Positano, they were met with family delays that pushed their wedding date to 2020. Of course, COVID would then push the date even further out. Two years and two kids later, this incredible duo shared their vows on the terrace of the Hotel Marincanto with the sun setting over the seaside cliffs of the Italian coast.
With destination weddings (as with any wedding), you never know what challenges could arise. And this is why we never plan an event we don’t oversee on the big day. So, even thought the new elopement vision for Jackie and Richard included just them and the kiddos- our team was there. Thank goodness our coordinators are ordained as the hired officiant did not show up and we had to step in to get these two wed! It made for an emotional and incredibly personal moment- one we couldn’t imagine having any other way! After all, when life gives you lemons- make limoncellio!
After their ceremony and congratulations from their zoom home viewers, Jackie and Richard cut a cake together and enjoyed an intimate meal while watching the twinkling lights of one of the most gorgeous cities on earth.
