One year ago today, Suzanne and Jason tied the knot at the Art Institute of Chicago in front of a beautiful art installation. It was an intimate standing ceremony that included a handful of their closest friends; to keep it simple and sweet, they had no wedding party. See their big day through photos by I Luv Photo:

The reception was held at Uncommon Ground, where their close friends and family enjoyed a delicious dinner in honor of the newlyweds. The restaurant specializes in using local, in-season food and has been named the “Greenest Restaurant in America” – so it was a great setting for an eco-friendly and delicious dinner party. Their charming and whimsical decor consisted of paper lanterns and honeycomb tissue balls in a multitude of colors hanging from the ceiling. Sprout Home provided pops of floral to brighten up the tables.

One of the most endearing aspects of the reception was the sweet musical performances done by their family and friends.

Their lovely wedding cake from Bittersweet was topped with a cute personalized cake topper made of fuse beads.

Their reception was intimate and casual that focused on their family and friends laughing and enjoying themselves. The little wedding favors were removable tattoos – of an animated version of Suzanne and Jason. Naturally Yours Events wishes you two a very happy anniversary!
