Susan and Peter got married one year ago today at the Columbia Yacht Club, during an intimate ceremony. Their closest family and friends joined them as they exchanged their vows and dedicated their lives to one another. Their ceremony took place on the upper level of the yacht club, boasting gorgeous views of the harbor. The wedding party was comprised of each of their children, which made it all the more special. Relive their big day with the photos below taken by the couple’s friend- Mac Kotas (of Press Play Photo).

Yellow and blue were the main colors- setting a very elegant, yet joyful tone. Blue, patterned table runners made the tables pop and went gorgeously with the space.

The couple had a lovely desserts table featuring different cakes and other sweets from Bittersweet, as well as Peter’s favorite- Portillo’s chocolate cake. The sweets were propped on stands by Nimble Well.

A lovely little touch about their wedding was that the night ended with fireworks- literally. Fireworks were set off from Navy Pier, causing a gorgeous and magical view from the yacht club. It was a fantastic way to end the night.

Happy one year anniversary, Susan and Peter!
