Happy Anniversary: Sanaz & Saleh

On May 31st, 2014, Sanaz and Saleh promised to love each other forever. They had a beautiful Iranian-Persian wedding at Spiaggia, downtown Chicago. The traditional aspects of their wedding involved objects (such as mirrors, candles, and food items) that represented meaningful ideas in their cultures. There was no set wedding party, however various family members and friends rook part in their ceremony by having different responsibilities – whether it be holding a cloth or dancing. The involvement of their close friends and family in their ceremony made it very special and unique to Sanaz and Saleh. Their wedding colors were lavender and grey with pops of chartreuse. After the ceremony, everyone ate delicious food, danced to DJ Armin (who is also of Persian decent), and just had a great time. It was a very unique, culturally diverse and romantic wedding that we were so happy to be a part of. Happy one year anniversary, Sanaz and Saleh- relive the big day by looking at the photos by Glen Abog below.
