Rowena and Chris got married one year ago on the rooftop of the Public Hotel, overlooking the lake and Chicago’s stunning skyline. It was a very intimate and romantic ceremony, in which Rowena’s uncle officiated. Decorative pendant-shaped garland- in the colors of red, white and blue- draped from the balcony (showing patriotism on both ends- Rowena is from England and Chris is from the US). Gorgeous rose bushes and Chicago’s amazing architecture were the backdrop of the beautiful ceremony, while Neil Dixon Smith played the guitar creating a truly lovely ambiance. After they exchanged their vows, guests moved to the downstairs event space to eat an incredibly delicious dinner. In terms of reception decor, each table centerpiece had a little plant, flower (by The English Garden Flower Shop) and unique beer stein. For dessert, amazing bite-sized sweets by Toni’s Patisserie were brought out as well as a cheese station. They also had a fun photo booth brought by Chicago Memory Booth. Rowena and Chris’ wedding was the perfect intimate party that fostered good conversation while taking in the gorgeous views.
