Happy Anniversary: Michelle and Robyn

Two gorgeous brides, Michelle and Robyn, got married one year ago today at Gallery 1028. Michelle (owner of Michelle Lytle Photography) is a fellow wedding industry professional, so hiring Naturally Yours Events to help with her wedding was an honor. She hired her associate, Erin Hoyt, to capture their magical day through photos, while Charlie Hilbrant Films captured it through video. The couple looked stunning, both individually and as a pair. They both chose dresses that fit their personalities: Michelle had a simple, sleek and understated white dress while Robyn had an amazing lacy, vintage-inspired gown. 

Michelle and Robyn wanted the space to feel natural, warm and romantic. Gallery 1028 has lots of exposed brick, so to brighten up the space, Atmosphere Events Group provided lovely lights that were strung above the ceremony. There were also uplights along the walls, as well as tons of candles on the ledges. All of these aspects of lighting really created a soft, romantic tone to the ceremony and reception. The brides were both walked down the aisle by their dads, and the ceremony was officiated by a friend of theirs.

Michelle and Robyn had such lovely details in their decor. There was a small pine branch (Heather Fields Floral) on each table setting, omitting that familiar winter scent. Their colors were navy and grey. There were both modern and vintage details throughout, including a lovely vintage vignette provided by Rent Vintage Chicago. Courageous Bakery provided all the delicious cupcakes for their dessert table, and Gold Noise DJs provided the fun dance tunes all night. Everyone had a blast celebrating Michelle and Robyn’s union. It was an incredibly romantic, fantastic night!
