Happy Anniversary: Lindsay & Scotty

We would love to wish Lindsay and Scotty a very happy one year anniversary! Today last year, the two said their vows at the 63rd Street Beach House in Chicago. The rain came down hard that day, causing the ceremony to be moved inside into the partially covered pavilion. But with their favorite people around them, the ceremony was very intimate and warming. Lindsay and Scotty exchanged their I Dos with the lake as their lovely backdrop. The beautiful ceremony music was performed by Wellington Strings. Once the rain finally ceased, guests were able to enjoy the entire space- adorned with flowers by Fab Flora.
Following the ceremony, Lindsay and Scotty had a cocktail-style reception. Delicious appetizers by Paramount Events were passed around, allowing guests to mingle and enjoy themselves in a more lax manner. Dinner followed, which was comprised of a really fun and interactive menu. There were a variety of different stations set up (salad, sliders, skewers, etc). The dinner could be described as an upscale barbecue, and a bit Southern-inspired. For dessert, they had some really great cupcake flavors- like strawberry shortcake- and they also had a snow cone machine!
The reception altogether fostered a happy, party vibe, where everyone just enjoyed themselves and let loose. The live band, Rod Tuffcurls and the Benchpress, really set the party mood- they were wild and crazy fun! Lindsay and Scotty’s reception was very high energy- everyone just had a great time.
