Happy Anniversary: Kelly & Patricio

Kelly and Patricio are one of those couples whose chemistry is just electric. The lovebirds met at work, and romance ensued. Patricio proposed at home, with the help of their pup. The bride’s dress was custom made, and had a very vintage old glam look. Her bridesmaids wore different lacy dresses. They held their ceremony and reception in the same location: Lacuna Artist Lofts in Pilsen, a hip and vibrant neighborhood in Chicago.

The ceremony featured a gorgeous garland backdrop, with tons of greenery and lanterns. The ceiling had whimsical paper balls strewn about. Their dog walked down the aisle in an adorable puppy tuxedo, and their uncle officiated. Fretless provided the romantic ceremony music. Afterward, they had cocktail hour on the roof overlooking the brilliant Chicago skyline. A stunning, blood-red sunset made the evening all the more magical.

Kelly and Patricio’s decor style was romantic, organic, vintage and warm. They had navy table cloths, amber vases with tea lights. It was a dim, candlelit dinner with tons of joy and love. Their table settings also had tons of beautiful vintage glassware provided by Rent Vintage Chicago. Their flowers by Fleur were light and fresh, organic, lush- blush peach tones. FIG Catering provided their delicious dinner, and Style Matters DJs played the music all night long. One of the cutest moments of the reception was when Patricio surprised Kelly by serenading her in front of all their guests.
