The bride chose to source flowers from Urban Meadows, a non-profit company who gives back to the community.

The couple like to spend their time boating on beautiful Chicago Summer days. So, they found it fitting to take photos with their wedding party at the boathouse in Evanston. They also used a boat paddle as a guestbook and asked guests to sign it as art for their home.

The ceremony itself was held at Gillson park. The day was a perfect fall afternoon and warm enough to open all the windows and let in some fall air. Guest were encouraged to hold a flickering candle while the couple said their vows.

My favorite part of their wedding was their venue SPACE, which is a music venue in Evanston. The couple chose to have more of a cabaret style seating with a huge dance floor in the middle. Guests mingled and enjoyed  good comfort foods from Lou Malnati’s and Superdawg. I also just loved how the couple had their family bring in baked goods and sweets for the sweets table. Their is nothing like grandma’s favorite cookies at a family gathering!

They danced all night and added glow sticks to make it even more fun!
