Erin and Kevin were so fun to work with. They had such a great sense of humor, and when they talked about the wedding they would light up with excitement- to party! This day was all about celebration of the two of them and their families coming together. Enjoy these photos from Jeremy Lawson Photography.
Erin and Kevin met in college and Kevin later proposed at the his parent’s lake house. The two spent the morning of the wedding getting ready with friends and family. And I just love their first look at the pub!
They then got some great photos around town before heading to their ceremony and reception at the Garfield Park Conservatory.
Erin and Kevin chose their closest friends to stand up with them at the ceremony, but they had an additional role to play- as ceremony musicians too. This wedding party serenaded the bride down the aisle to Litle Garcon by Born Ruffians. The guys came in first and hummed the tune as the ladies made their way down. Once they all came together, Kevin sang as Erin joined in with him at the front. It was an amazing a beautiful moment- one I, and no one there, will forget.
After saying their “I dos” it was certainly time to party! Guests joined the couple for dinner in the greenhouse area of the venue. The centerpieces and other decor was handmade by the couple. They took wheat bundles as the centerpiece tied with twine, then sprinkled concrete and gold votives around the table. Their card box was a postbox with a succulent roof- so cute! One of my favorite details was the sweetstable with wood stumps and their initials made with potted succulents.
And, to top off the night, Gold Noise DJs kept everyone on that dance floor!
Happy First Year Anniversary Erin and Kevin!
