A few weekends ago I rode my bike down to the Green Music Festival to check out some great live music and awesome green vendors. Here are a few of them I chatted with:

I LOVE the soaps from Ethically Engineered– like their beer soap or the Chicago Flag bar. Their products work great and are completely sustainable. Containers can be composted, products are all natural, vegan and never tested on animals, plus they use solar power! If you want to incorporate their products in your wedding, Ethically Engineered can do bulk and customized orders.

Milton and Margies soy wax candles are perfect for favors and decor. They hand-pour soy wax (which is better than the toxic and non-renewable petroleum based products) into cute reused/recycled containers. Also all of their wicks are lead-free. They make all their candles right here in Chicago and can handle bulk orders.

DSC08161Denise with Feltwerker has created a new line of large flower pins. These are so beautiful, pictures do not do them any justice. I always love to see her new designs, make sure to check out her fall line coming soon.

And finally, I couldn’t pass up Renegade Handmade’s booth. They have hundreds of artists each making unique handmade items for sale at the store. This really makes me excited for the Renegade Craft Fair in September. The artists featured above are (from left to right) Eric Erf’s reclaimed wooden frame, Rifle Paper Company’s handmade thank you notes, and Bettula’s birch wood votive candles.
