An Enchanting Art Nouveau Celebration at Salvage One

The day began with John’s crew getting ready at The Robey, while Rosa and her team got glammed up at their apartment just across the street in Wicker Park. A first look at home is the perfect start to a sentimental day – after all, home is where the heart is.

The day began with an intimate and magical ceremony beneath a beautifully designed chuppah, adorned with cascading florals and lush greenery, symbolizing the intertwining of love and tradition. The stunning arrangements were done by our fellow Green Wedding Alliance Member, Romee Willow Florals. Their kiss and a the strike of a gong sealed the deal and guests were encouraged to take tarot cards as they entered into cocktail hour to discuss while the wedding party used Salvage One’s beautiful antiques as the backdrop to show off their eclectic fashions.

The reception was a visual feast, meticulously curated to reflect the couple’s shared passion for timeless beauty and bold artistry. Tables were adorned with intricate Art Nouveau-inspired details, featuring a sophisticated palette of gold and black. From the elegantly designed table numbers to the custom menus, and even origami sprinkled across the tables – folded by the couple, of course – every element resonated with the opulent yet understated charm of the theme. Soft lighting and lavish floral arrangements further enhanced the ambiance, creating an atmosphere that felt both romantic and inviting. Not mention the butter boards crafted by Butter & Vine became a centerpiece in its own right.

As the evening unfolded, the newlyweds’ love and admiration for one another radiated throughout the dance floor thanks to the invaluable Style Matters DJs.
